Danny Wallace Rampant Manchester United Winger Review

Being born and raised in Greenwich, southeast London, Danny Wallace shot began his professional football career with Second Division side Southampton as a student associate in February 1977.

The richly talented player also made a piece of football history when he appeared to his beloved Southampton at home to Sheffield Wednesday with his two brothers Ray and Rod Oct. 22, 1988.


1986

Impressed by the young prodigious player, ambitious Manchester United, Alex Ferguson took him to Old Trafford in a £ 1.2 million transfer agreement in the fall of 1989. His career Manchester United began on a high note and he was the first choice left winger club during the 1989-1990 campaign.

No doubt the pinnacle of his career came when Manchester United won the final of the FA Cup in 1990 against Crystal Palace side of Steve Coppell.

When Lee Sharpe made his breakthrough at Manchester United, Wallace saw his first team opportunities more or less disappear in the air and the frustrated footballer was then loaned to Millwall humble.

As things finally turned, Danny Wallace played his last game for Manchester United in a narrow 1-0 win against Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford in January 1993. Later that year, Wallace was transferred to Birmingham City for a estimated transfer amount to £ 250,000 after only 47 league games for Manchester United.

Despite his physical problems began at Old Trafford, they were even worse was the Midlands club, and after a short period with little Wycombe Wanderers flankman had his football career tragically cut short because of a serious illness.
