Things To Do and See When Visiting Chicago



Chicago, also known as the Windy City is located in the state of Illinois and is the largest metropolitan area in the Midwest. It is a beautiful old town, located on Lake Michigan with a fantastic view of the sea from the many large buildings there. Chicago had a terrible fire in 1871, when much of the city was devastated and had to be rebuilt by contractors in Chicago. Meanwhile, the amazing architecture was produced by a contractor and general architects of Chicago and much can be enjoyed in the architectural cruise of the city.

Both places are great and close to many places to see. For sports fans, Chicago is a big city with two great baseball teams in the league, the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox, a big football stadium to watch the team play Chicago Bears NFL team and the famous Bulls NBA Chicago, where Michael Jordan played for years. Chicago fans are some of the most loyal and vocal fans in the country to get a ticket for a match must be made in advance.

Chicago is also known for great museums, zoos and aquariums. If you are a fan of the arts, the Field Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art rivals other art museums in major cities and should be considered. The Shedd Aquarium is also a great place to visit and has the largest beluga collection in North America. The Lincoln Park Zoo is also one of the oldest free zoos in the country for a visit to what is obviously great and cheap too.

Food is a big reason that people like to visit Chicago. There is a little Italian and a Greek town in Chicago, which has amazing restaurants ahead. Two foods that this city is known to have deep dish pizza Chicago-style hot dog and the famous Superdawg which is served with a variety of special condiments like mustard in Chicago, no ketchup, salt, onion and kosher pickles. Chicago is a great city and to see many celebrities are proud to call home, like Oprah Winfrey, President Obama, and many actors and musicians.
