The Hunger Games Panem That Look Like?

The Hunger Games trilogy is set at an undetermined time in the future ... once after disasters and severe droughts. In the early Hunger Games, the mayor Undersee read the history of Panem (an annual ritual in Reapings). It reads: "It lists the disasters, droughts, storms, fires, invasive seas that swallowed up so much land, the brutal war for what little sustenance remained The result was Panem, a ringed shining Capitol thirteen districts. Panem, we know that is found in North America. There are now only 12 districts (district 13 were destroyed) who were 30 states and provinces. We know that the district 12 is small, with a population of 8,000. The only buildings that we heard about The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are short, mayor of homes and government buildings. There are no skyscrapers, urban centers or more urban sprawl. We know that the trains are Katniss and Peeta around Panem traveling 250 mph. We also know that the District 7 and District 10 are en route from District 12 to the Capitol. Here are some notes compiled on the things we know about Panem, districts and some of the people who live there.

He says explicitly Capitol in The Hunger Games as the Capitol is in the Rocky Mountains. For example, the mountains are covered with snow, which gives the President Snow.

District 1 - Luxury Goods - This neighborhood is known for providing the Capitol with its luxury products. The tribute boy, Marvel, was killed by Katniss (first win) and killed street. The girl, Glimmer, is killed by the Tracker Jacker bites.

District 2 - unknown industry - however, both taxes are Clove and Cato. Cato is killed when Katniss takes her hand and Peeta pushes the cornucopia and falls. Clove is killed by Thresh, saving the life of Katniss.

District 3 - factories, electronics and explosives. Wiress & Biti, and boy recreates landmines in the Hunger Games are the District 3. Girl (also unnamed) died on the first day.

District 4 - Fishing. Tributes the district excel in swimming, and indicated that they come from a hot climate (Finnick much time shirtless). In The Hunger Games tribute to boy died on the first day at Cornucopia. The girl was killed Katniss drop the tracker jacker hive / nest in it.

District 5
- Industry unknown - tribute Boy dies on the first day. Peeta accidentally kills Foxface with poisonous berries.

District 7 - Lumber / Trees - nothing is really known about this district. Johanna Mason, however, is dressed as a tree for the parade before the Quell area.

District 8 - Textiles / Clothing - In Flames found the refugees in District 8, Twill and Bonnie, the names that coincide with the head of their district industry. Katniss remembers that it was a "place ugly, urban ... no chance to learn the ways of nature."

District 9 - Generates Electricity - The boy tribute died on the first day.

District 10 - Livestock / Animal Husbandry - Katniss mentions that the District 10 tributes are dressed like cows with shiny belts. It is not known how the boy died tribute, but it was the morning Katniss career explodes supplies. The girl died on the first day of tribute.

District 11 - Agriculture / Orchards - Rue specifically cites orchards and climbing trees. When traveling in the district 11 of the Tower of Victory, Katniss notes the extreme temperature difference - the snow where it is against to be pretty warm in winter. Katniss also wonders to what extent the South who traveled on the train. Cato Thresh kills the boy kills District 1 Street.

District 12 - Coal Mining - This area is described as being in the area formerly known as Appalachia. There is a great track where the area 12 may be, you do not get to read the book, but to hear Suzanne Collins read. She reads Katniss with a southern accent.

District 13 - Graphite Mining / Nuclear energy - There are speculations that some people may have moved underground after the neighborhood was destroyed. He is also described as being also the most remote areas beyond District 12 (in his absence, District 12 is described as "the end of the line").
