GIMP

IN GIMP - which stands for "GNU Image Manipulation Program." - Is free software source graphics editing with a range of powerful features for image creation, the composition of the image and photo editing program versions are available for use on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, and offers a powerful alternative, but very affordable to expensive commercial programs like Adobe Photoshop.

In terms of painting and drawing images, GIMP includes a complete set of drawing tools (which produce flexible design effects with a powerful anti-aliasing technology), such as pencils, brushes, airbrush, and cloning. The curriculum supports custom brushes and patterns, and gradient and mixing tools. To adjust, handle and sharp images, there are many different tools, and especially the program supports multiple levels of undo and redo, so if you make a mistake, you can easily recover.
However the images in GIMP can also be loaded, saved, or converted to and from a variety of file formats, including BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, PS, PSD, TIFF and many more.

Another powerful aspect of GIMP is that, as high-end graphics commercial programs, the software is both scalable and can be automated:

* Extensibility means that programmers can improve the software with additional modules ( "extensions" or "plug-ins") that provide additional functionality beyond the basic program. For example, the typical extensions can add support to the load or save images in different file formats or provide additional effects and filters to manipulate images.
For example, if you have a large number of images to convert a file to another format, a script can be configured to do this automatically, instead of you having to manually load and then re-register each individual image.
Getting the GIMP is easy. GIMP is actually an open source program, which means you can download it (including source code, you can view or even edit if you have programming skills) for free.
