Just because you're a vegan does not mean you should not be able to enjoy a good plate of pasta with cheese on your next family function. This dish has been around forever and is still a favorite. Instead of sitting around and watching everyone eat this delicious meal, show with this recipe for vegan mac and cheese and enjoy!
Vegan Mac and Cheese
Ingredients:
1.5 pounds noodles
1.5c non-dairy milk
1.5c yeast
1c oil (vegetable or canola is good)
1c water
garlic powder 1T
1T salt
1T paprika
Sauce 1 / 3c soybean
12 ounces tofu
1t mustard
Instructions:
-Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Add folder and follow the instructions on the box for the time (different brands often have cooking times) cooking.
-During Pasta is cooking, mix the remaining ingredients in a blender. Mix the ingredients until they are easily mixed together. Keep the ingredients until the dough is cooked.
-When Pasta is cooked, remove from heat and drain strainer. Allow excess water to drain pasta. Place the drained pasta in a large roasting pan.
-Add mixed ingredients to the batter and mix lightly. (Can you really want to save a small portion of the sauce to finish the pasta after mixing the rest of the mix with the dough. This will allow you to have a reasonable quantity of the cheese mixture on top to create a nice crust crispy after the conclusion of baking.)
-Local Roaster over and cook until the top layer of "cheese" is browned. -Remove From oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the sauce to bind and hold all parties simultaneously.
We are sure that if you do not tell anyone that you used free dairy products, they do not know what they eat dairy free vegan dish.
