8 Gmail Labs This will Improve Your E-Mail Productivity

Although Gmail has been in existence since 2004, Gmail Labs were introduced in mid-2008 Gmail Labs are probably making it extremely powerful Gmail as the mail client, similar to the way browsers like Firefox and Chrome may be extended by extensions.

1. Canned Responses. canned responses allow you to create a message that you can easily reuse when responding to emails. For example, if you use Gmail for your business, and regularly send the same answer to a common question, then you must use a reply template to save you the time to re-write this message to all the time.

2. Custom keyboard shortcuts. Although Gmail comes with keyboard shortcuts for common actions already integrated, it can be hard to remember especially if you use shortcuts in other programs. This laboratory allows to modify keyboard shortcuts to your liking.

3. Default 'Reply to all ". Save yourself an extra click, allowing the laboratory. It changes the "Reply" at the top right button to message "Reply All".

4. Message Sneak Peek. This laboratory allows us to see a little more of a message without having to open the message completely. Either right-click or press the hot key (default is "h").

5. Quick Links. Although Gmail search can be very powerful and very fast, if you find that you perform the same search repeatedly, this is a great way to save them in what is called a fast connection.

6. Send and archive. Send and Archive saves you one click and helps process email faster, changing the send button to send and save the message history.

7. Superstars. If you use Gmail stars to highlight some emails, you may want more than just a single gold star. Superstars gives you the ability to select a number of different colors and icons, including questions and exclamation.

8. Undo Send. Undo Send is potentially a life buoy I used now more times than I can count, despite being a little cautious of email sender. Gmail Labs has many other extensions that may be useful, but start with these 8 and see if you do not spend less time to process your e-mail every day.
