Google Policy Changes

For some time it has been known that Google was about to consolidate its privacy policies in a wide and comprehensive policy. Basically, this means that Google will now share the data it stores for you among all its services. They will not share something new with third parties; only one of many Google services. Google was adamant these changes are just made to make their products better than ever and even display the most relevant content and advertising to each individual user.

Alma emphasized three important points to keep in mind about these changes.

Privacy policy Google is now much easier to understand.

• Google's privacy policy will allow them to build a better experience, more intuitive Google for connected users.

• Privacy controls Google are not changing

Pablo Chavez, public policy director of Google also discussed in a post January 5 things do not change.

• Google will always keep your private information private - they are not changing the visibility of any information you have stored with Google.

• Google will still allow you to search, watch videos on YouTube, get directions on Google Maps, and perform other tasks without signing into a Google Account.

• Google is still offering you choice and control through tools of privacy like Google Dashboard and Ads Preferences Manager for that will help you understand and manage your data.

• Google does not sell your personal information to advertisers.

• Google continues to offer the release of data if you prefer to close your Google Account and take your data elsewhere.

Admittedly, Google did a fantastic job in trying to open quietly. The changes have attracted the attention of many watchdogs privacy. The governments of Japan and the EU also expressed concerns. A member of FairSearch Coalition (which became Google's competitors), sent a letter to the National Association of Attorneys General expressing concerns about the changes.

Privacy issues through the Google spent only fuel the fire of controversy and adding strength to claim this is a big deal. Stuff-ups as recent history around Safari and the launch of Google Buzz in recent years tend to stick in people's minds.

But despite the warnings will be changes really affect? What you need to know Google does not collect more information, simply use a different way.

There is a big misconception that Google suddenly access to information that has not had before. Google actually always collected its data to all its services. They used this data to tailor your experience already, and it is a great service?

All that changes is that now the data collected from their activity through their services, say between YouTube and Google Search, will be used to provide a more personalized experience across all their products.

To date, many technology experts have suggested that you should delete your Google Web History to increase your privacy. But it was clear now that this will not stop Google to collect your personal data. You can clean and stop tracking your activity, but you prevent Google from using the collected data to your Google account, it will not stop Google to track your activity on the Web. Information can also be used to create a profile on you authorize Google to your ads that are specifically tailored for you.

Some experts are outraged privacy, while others shout, "Who cares" Both are right.

Many think that it is not a big deal, Google collects the same information that he has always and only to be used to improve the user experience. Who cares if the data are used for propaganda? The US government proposed "bill of rights to privacy of consumers that will protect people, allowing them to decide what information is collected about them and how that information is used. But as there are current laws can stop the Google unified privacy policy.

Well, you can simply stop using Google services ... good luck in today's world, it would be almost impossible!

You can, however, follow a few simple tips to reduce the amount of data collected about you, as do Google searches without signing in.
