The use of satellite dish has grown since 1888. In other words, advances in technology use these antennas for a variety of purposes. Parabolic antennas are defined as antennas that use curved surfaces or parabolic reflectors with transverse designs to direct radio waves. These antennas typically have cup-shaped shapes. They have high power and can detect radio waves directly in thin bars or in one direction only. Parabolic antenna also acts as a radar antenna and sends narrow beams to find large objects, such as guided missiles, planes and ships. For satellite, spacecraft and data communications, they are used for WLAN / WAN connections.
The parabolic antenna comes with a small antenna and a metal reflector. The power antenna is in the focus of the reflector. In general, reflectors are metallic surfaces made in parabolic figures. The power antenna receives high frequency (RF) currents across transmission lines of transmitters. Next, these currents are converted into radio waves which are sent back to the parabolic loop via the power antenna. The incoming waves reflect the reception antenna, which is aimed at the power antenna. Then this process turns the waves into power. A radio records these waves via a transmission line.
