Goji Berry Benefits What Does Science Say?


When Goji berries come from? ~ Goji are grown in rich soil minerals northern China, Mongolia and Tibet. The term "Goji" was invented in Tibet in 1976. Before that "Goji berries" were known in the West as "Goji." 

Goji berries protect DNA and reduce DNA damage in animal studies. Although aging is a complex process, an anti-aging strategy is to minimize damage to DNA.

Goji berries can reduce insulin resistance. Diabetic animals that were fed for three weeks goji berries showed a weight reduction and improved levels of triglycerides, cholesterol and insulin. 

There are 67 medical studies that show how Goji support a healthy heart. Goji berries have been combined with a drug against cancer to reverse the growth of cancer in 79 patients. Goji berries have increased drug effect against cancer. This improved combination was effective in patients with melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, lung cancer, malignant hydrothorax, colorectal carcinoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. 

Another study showed that wolfberry berries stop the growth of human leukemia cells in the test tube. 

Goji berries also protect the liver. In conclusion, the goji is cytoprotective, anti-tumor and immune stimulatory.
