How Google Docs Works

The concept

If you say computers have revolutionized the way we create and store information, Google Docs can surely be called the next revolution.

Imagine a business teacher Jane with thirty students in her class retail management. By default, all 30 students will send their case study projects. Jane will identify areas of improvements and fixes in files and send it back to them. So Jane will eventually have at least 120 (30x4) different roads leading to much confusion and waste of time and energy.

It provides a platform where files can be uploaded and edited in real time. Jane can create 30 different documents for each of their students. They can download their work in these documents. Once they did that Jane can read and edit the same files they were working. Thus, all the work will be done in a single shared file between Jane and every student. The thirty case studies lead to the creation of over 120 different files - thanks to Google Docs.

Different security options provided by Google Docs will let Jane permit or deny access to these documents by others documents.
