Many people choose to stay close to home and visit major cities with memorable attractions for your vacation today. Chicago is home to some of the most famous museums in the United States. Many people come all the way to Chicago just to visit one of these large and influential museums. They are perfect for children and adults. You can easily spend an entire day (or two) in the field of museum or the Art Institute.
    Field Museum - The Field Museum of Natural History is home to more than 21 million specimens and artifacts, many that only a few are at any time. Specifically, the Field Museum is home to "Sue", the largest T-Rex skeleton found to date. The Field Museum also has a large collection of stuffed animals, including the famous man eating lions made famous in the movies. See, hear, feel and learn at the Field Museum of Natural History.

    Art Institute of Chicago - The second largest art museum in the United States is located in Chicago, IL. The art spanning 5,000 years of history, it takes about one million square foot property. No wonder people often make the trip to Chicago just to visit this museum. The Institute is home to some very famous paintings such as "Self-Portrait" by Vincent van Gogh and Grant Wood "American Gothic."

    Shedd Aquarium - The most popular aquarium in the United States, home to more than 2 million visitors a year. The architecture is amazing too, allowing you to stay next to a shark in a tank or a giant sea turtle. There are many more museums in Chicago to explore as well. You can also visit some other historical attractions such as the Sears Tower.

Chicago has a food culture of its own; Home Grown goodies up to the snobbery of food, it is something to fill the favorite food of all fantasies.

Chicago is home to the pizza pan increasingly popular. True to its name, the deep dish crust and layers of toppings and cheese covered by a thick layer of thick tomato sauce. If you want authentic Chinese cuisine, hop the train to Chinatown for a day of shopping and great food. Have you tried "dim sum" or "bubble tea?" Try to hit as Joy Yee you're in town!

It would not be without some hot dogs Chicago Style tasty - try Portillo or follow one of the famous hot dog carts!

If you have a large family with lots of interests, there is no problem to keep everyone happy on vacation here. Chicago has a great zoo, water parks, amusement parks and other major attractions.

    Wrigley Field - If you are visiting during baseball season, so no trip would be complete without taking in a baseball game on one of the oldest courses and most famous in America. Bravo for the beloved Chicago Cubs, whatever their affiliate team is normal!

    Get some peace and fresh air in one of the beautiful parks like Chicago Millennium Park and Wicker Park. Chicago is quickly becoming one of the friendliest places in the US bicycle. There are tons of hiking trails and shady places to curl up with a good book.

    Michigan Avenue - the biggest Post "fashionistas" off Michigan Avenue, where the streets are filled with shops coveted. Spend a day shopping and sightseeing in the "Magnificent Mile".

    Navy Pier - This is a fun place for the whole family; with restaurants, shops and attractions, all in one convenient location. Have you ever wanted to ride a large 15-storey wheel? Navy Pier also has a children's museum, a working carousel and a lot of fun as carnival rides and games.

If you want a bit of nightlife, Chicago is home to some of the most respected comedy clubs in the floor and many great theaters that feature Broadway plays. It is also common for television and cinema films in a city also known as Chicago to see film crews and a glimpse of your favorite stars!
