Jupiter is Our Largest Planet

What Is Jupiter Our Largest Planet?

Jupiter

Jupiter is the largest planet in our sun. Jupiter has been known since ancient times. This is not surprising because it is the fourth brightest object in our sky steady.

Galileo

In 1610, Galileo Galilei pointed a telescope at Jupiter and discovered four of its moons.

(Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto) This was the first astronomical observation of motion not apparently centered on the Earth, and gave indirect support to the crazy idea that the Earth is not the center of the universe.

Cut

Jupiter is about 143,000 kilometers (90,000 miles) in diameter at the equator. This is probably close to the maximum size of a planet can get.

Planets can be more massive than Jupiter, but as most of the questions are added, the severity increases and the issue is more compressed.

If enough extra material added to the fusion, nuclear begins and the object is not classified as a planet, but is called a star. The mass will happen is discussed, but an upper limit used for planetary mass is 13 times that of Jupiter.

Gas giant

Jupiter is one of the planets classified as a "gas giant". Above the core, scientists believe that there is a liquid metallic hydrogen layer.

Gas giants are believed to be primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, and density tend to be lower than that of rocky planets. However, a gas giant planet much more massive than Jupiter has a very high density.
