College Hockey



Hockey is a sport in which two teams attempt to maneuver a hard round disc called a puck in the net of the opponent, using a hockey stick. This sport is played in college and each college or institution may have its own hockey team. Intra-collegiate and inter-collegiate hockey tournaments are held throughout the year. Many colleges offer the development of necessary infrastructure, guidance, funding and support hockey. Hockey, the top level may include field hockey, ice hockey, roller hockey, and its various forms, such as air hockey, hockey ball, Bandy, Broomball, hockey bubble, Floorball and hockey in the foot.
Air hockey is played indoors with a disk on a special table, known as the Air Hockey table name. Ball hockey is somewhat similar to ice hockey but instead of a disk, a ball is used. Bubble hockey is played on a table sealed with plastic. Floorball, or hockey ground, is a type of hockey played in a gymnasium using a plastic stick and hollow ball. Ringette is a variation on ice hockey designed for players. Skater hockey is a kind of hockey line, played with a ball. Table hockey is an indoor game usually played on a flat surface like a table. Underwater hockey is played on the bottom of the pool.
