Cabbage Recipe Burger Buns
What do you need
2 packages dry yeast
1 ½ cups scalded milk
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon of salt coffee
3 eggs
5 cups flour
¼ pound sausage
¾ pound ground beef or hamburger
1 chopped onion
1 head of shredded cabbage
1 can chopped mushrooms 4 oz
2 green peppers diced
How to do?
Empty the dry yeast in a large bowl and set aside until needed.
Stir the melted mass and dissolved. Add sugar and salt to mix and dissolve. Remove from heat and let mixture cool in hot weather.
Stir in ½ cup of this mixture cooled milk in dried yeast and stir until dissolved. Stir in milk mixture remaining until smooth. Gradually add 1 ½ cup flour over the mixture. Beat until the mixture is smooth in texture and then gradually add the remaining flour.
Flour a clean, dry surface. Pierce the dough down and put it on the prepared floured surface. Roll dough to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 2 ½ square inch.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
You can prepare the cabbage topping burger while you're waiting for the dough using a large saucepan or skillet to cook. Add a pound of flesh, if you use 1 pound hamburger or a mixture of sausage ¼ and ¾ pound of ground beef or hamburger brown. Mix the chopped onion, chopped mushrooms and green peppers diced. Mix to combine. When meat is almost brown, mix chopped cabbage and brown together. Remove from heat and drain the liquid.
After the cabbage hamburger filling, fill the center of each square with the filling, and then bring the corners together to form a pouch. Place in a large frying pan or a deep baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter or margarine before serving.
