Nissan Motors continues to take important steps to become one of the highest quality automakers on the scene in North America today. Long live the shadow of Japanese Honda and Toyota faithful, Nissan defends himself with a series of new models or upgraded to reduce the Honda-Toyota dominance. Nissan Versa - Scion division of Toyota has been a success with young people, while Nissan is struggling to provide models that can capture the interest of new drivers while being affordable. The car will be manufactured in Mexico with a price of $ 12,000 planned neighborhood. Nissan Cube - Still in the process of "what might be imported", the new Cube is Nissan's answer to the Scion xB and Honda Element Be five to seven adults, the Cube is just that: a box on wheels.. Published reports suggest that the Cube will be released for the north American market by 2008.

Nissan Sentra - Sentra a new arc in the second half of 2006 as a 2007 model significant style changes and market dynamics should be provided by Nissan to help the car compete more effectively with the VW Golf and Mazda 3.

Nissan Altima - The big change coming for the Altima is the introduction of a hybrid engine. Scheduled to hit Nissan showrooms in autumn 2006, the new Altima model will actually borrow Toyota technology to create the first hybrid from Nissan. The motor and battery will be Nissan, however; Nissan apparently needs help from its Japanese rival to enter the hybrid segment growing.

Beyond 2008 consumers can expect to see an updated Quest van makes its appearance with subtle changes on the remaining vehicles in the Nissan line up. Other models are in concept stage; expect some to be featured in future auto shows.

If the Cube and Versa make their appearance as expected, Nissan is likely to score with young drivers in two areas: the style and price.
