JetBlue Tickets and Alliances

JetBlue is a low-cost carrier based in the United States. With personal TV, the best locations of the seats and even directors of the company to offer free tickets on JetBlue flights randomly, they soon gained a reputation as a major airline to fly with. Jet Blue currently two alliances in place with other airlines. In 2008, JetBlue began a business alliance with Aer Lingus. There is a full alliance like Oneworld, Star Alliance and SkyTeam, as if allowing customers to transfer between the two airlines, the airlines are not allowed to sell seats on behalf of another airline. This means that passengers who wish to undertake a trip on the airlines will need to book separate tickets Aer Lingus and JetBlue, potentially allowing them to book tickets with competing operators if fares were cheaper.

JetBlue is another guild with the German airline Lufthansa (which has a 19% stake in the airline). This agreement is more like a regular code-share agreement in which both companies can sell tickets to the other, allowing free and transparent route between operated by each company transfers.

February 2007 saw the operator to enter into a code share agreement with Cape Air, an airline based at Barnstable Municipal Airport in Massachusetts. Cape Air sells tickets mainly to destinations in the US Northeast, Florida, the Caribbean, Central West, the Mid-Atlantic States and Micronesia. The agreement allows Cape Air to carry passengers of JetBlue's Logan Airport, Boston Cape Air routes through Cape Cod and the surrounding islands. The agreement will allow customers of both airlines to buy seats on both airlines reserve.

JetBlue also has an agreement with South African Airways, which entered into force in May 2010. This agreement, like the Lufthansa company, allows passengers to travel on one ticket between the two operators.

In July 2010, the company began a limited route sharing agreement with American Airlines. The agreement has eighteen JetBlue destinations not served by American and twelve international destinations from JFK to American. As one US operator agreements with leading European and South African carriers allows the hub at New York JFK airport to act as a link between the three continents of options allowing passengers with ticketing for a wide variety of US and European cities. Although JetBlue Airways is currently not a member of a broad alliance program, Star Alliance would be more likely for the airline because of its close links with Lufthansa holds a 19% stake in JetBlue, seems the most likely choice.
