Try Thai Food



If you are doing business or traveling in Thailand, it is important to understand the cuisine and the culture in question at every meal. Dates of Thai food back 4000 years ago when what is now Thailand was part of the major north / south trade route. Therefore, this vegetarian-friendly has been influenced by China, India and the Middle East. The introduction of the United States to the kitchen came after the Vietnam War because soldiers stationed in Thailand during the conflict. Each meal usually consists of a single dish with many dishes served at the same time and shared by all. Thai food is traditionally eaten with the right hand, but has become more Westernized and is now generally eaten with a fork and a spoon. A traditional ceramic spoon is sometimes used for soups.

Thai salads are not exactly the iceberg, croutons and ranch dressing. Usually on the spicy side, they tend to include fascinating food combinations.

A papaya salad green with lime juice, fish sauce, pepper, shrimp of the Bay, green beans, and a touch of sauce with garlic.
 
Pla-Goong is grilled shrimp with lemon grass, lemon juice, pepper and mint.
Yam tai is a green salad with shrimp, chicken, boiled egg and crushed peanuts in sweet and sour sauce.
 
Yum naked includes grilled tenderloin slices with herbs tossed in lemon juice, tomato, Japanese cucumber, shallots, chives and chili bird's eye.

In Thailand, rice is eaten at every meal, and is always served in Thai restaurants in the US. Remember that Thai food is usually served in large quantities to share with an entire table.

Talay Thai is a mix of seafood with Thai seasonings of garlic, lemon grass, basil, galangal, lemon leaves and pepper.
 
Kang ped is roasted duck with spicy red curry with pineapple, tomato and Thai basil.
