Natural Cures For Food Poisoning



OR food poisoning results from the ingestion of contaminated food or water by bacteria (usually the salmonella strain). Depending on the severity of cases, symptoms may include diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever or dehydration. In most cases, food poisoning is not a condition of life in danger. Here are some natural ways to fight against food poisoning:

Fresh lemon juice can be used effectively as an internal cleanser to fight against infection.
Squeeze the juice of one lemon in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it.


To encourage vomiting, drink a cider vinegar mixed with water.
One of the best cleansers, helping absorb bacteria in the intestine and remove from the system is activated carbon. You can buy activated charcoal tablets over-the-counter at your nearest pharmacy. Adults should take 4 to 5 tablets in both the early symptoms of food poisoning. It is particularly useful when food poisoning was accompanied by diarrhea. If diarrhea is not too liquid coal can get constipated.

Ginger helps relieve nausea. Cut a slice of ginger root and take small snacks, chewing until the symptoms disappear.

To compensate salts and minerals lost during diarrhea and vomiting crisis, drinking a mixture of 1 tablespoon of molasses organic soup with 8 ounces of water. If you do not have available molasses, simply dilute a teaspoon of table salt in a glass of water and drink it.
