3 Tips for your Project or Activity TripAdvisor Announcement

This message is for people who already have a TripAdvisor list, and want to know the fastest ways on how to improve it. I'm sure you've set up, upload photos of your ride or activity, have updated contact information, and maybe even have some comments under your belt. But there is more you can do to promote your tour or positive activity. Here are 3 tips on how to do just that:

Use TripAdvisor widgets
TripAdvisor provides free widgets (mainly buttons that link to your TripAdvisor profile). Put it in its most trafficked pages (what most people see when they land on your site). Also be sure to turn on all booking pages to reassure them that you are credible. If you are on social media networks, put them there too!
You can use these widgets to request or link to comments and photos.
It is also called a "Certificate of Excellence", which shows the number of stars you have.

Monitor your comments
TripAdvisor is a good way to get honest feedback from customers. But sometimes, the feedback may violate review TripAdvisor guidelines (usually the most negative). You can report violations directly to TripAdvisor and they will handle this for you. They have a strict fraud detection system to get rid of false messages, but you need to alert them to it. You can respond to management for each evaluation. You have to handle this well and communicate calmly. Remember, everyone is watching and is your chance to turn around this comment and put you in a good light - after all, nobody expects you to be perfect.

Destination Spotlight join their program
The way it works - you connect to TripAdvisor from your home page, they give you coupon placement on your home page, everyone is happy. This program does not help you as a good link to the search engine optimization (meaning it does not help you climb the search results page of the Google search engine). It is only to increase traffic to your site.
