HOW ARE MADE weaves? ~ The fabrics are woven in a loom. The son are interconnected horizontally and vertically; depending on the weave is being manufactured. These are called weft son. Vertical son son are called warp or filling the horizontal and son are called weft son. Changing the number of vertical lines and horizontal weave create different variants. Float is the portion of the filling yarn, which moves along two or more filling son. The big floats are responsible for the smooth texture of the satin damask fabrics.
A measure of the durability of a fabric covering is the tightness of the weave. The number of son per inch this action. The structural strength of the coating material (if any), types of used son, finish and color methods will affect the durability of the fabric. Some well-woven fabrics (eg olefins) may be affected by pilling. The flat fabrics are constructed by alternately passing the filling son on and under the adjacent vertical son (chain) over the entire length of the fabric. He is very strong and versatile in creating different fibers and blends. Smooth fabrics are balanced.
RIB WEAVE
This is a variation of the weave. Heavier son are used to achieve the desired results. This is a variation of the fabric. The fabric of the rib is formed by the heavier fill son. If a son to fill (weft) is used vertically striated appearance occurs. This process allows mixtures of corduroy fabrics and similar appearance.
What differentiates them are filling son are used. This consists of one or more weft son (horizontal son) who assemble together on and under two or more son of vertical frame (). This armor is often not as strong as the rib or plain weaves due to slippage or son group.
Some examples are Haitian braided cotton monk's cloth. The fabric of Monk is a mixed fabric. It can be wool blends, cotton, linen, silk, rayon, or synthetic fiber. The fabric of Monk is a very durable fabric because it takes all the good points of fiber is mixed with.
SATIN WEAVE
These are manufactured using large surface lines, which gives the characteristic satin weaves giving them a smooth, glossy texture. Satin weaves are floating vertical son over the filling son. This shows more face fabric. If the wire is smooth and shiny, the fabric will be too. Satin weaves have a poor wear performance. This weave pattern is used in the manufacture of Brocade and tissue tapestry.
WEAVE PILE
This weaving uses additional vertical son that is right to repeat perpendicularly to the surface of the base fabric. Velvet and similar fabrics are made using the weaving cell. To velvet and other plush fabrics, the links are cut. Some fabrics plush let the curls to create a particular effect. Corduroy, a durable fabric is made using the weaving cell.
SPECIAL NOTE: When comparing two fabric having the same construction and content of the fiber, more durable fabric are more densely compacted fibers. The tighter the fabric, the fabric is stronger.
Jacquard
This fabric is made on Jacquard loom.
Weave together
The flocking process is more of a printing method other than weaving. Short fibers stick to the tissues that support with an adhesive marks set of velvet. The flocked velvet texture differs velvet fabric. The velvet fabric feels softer to the touch. Fabrics flakes can be quite durable but different cleaning methods must be used.
Coated fabrics
This is a method of manufacture to be careful. This coating is a surface coating. Vinyl coated fabrics vary greatly in quality and cost.
WEAVE MICROFIBER
The microfibers are not woven but relatively new, rapidly developing very small and cramped armor fiber category. The term "microfiber" is an abbreviation of "microdenier" that is, the woven fibers are less than 1 denier size.
Microfibers come in 3 FIBRE PRIMARY
Microfibers fabrics can be made from several different fibers, polyester, cotton and nylon. Cotton and polyester are more frequent. The type of cleaning can be accomplished depends on the microfiber, cotton, polyester or nylon selected. Cotton must be cleaned by a method of low water content, due to NAP fabric softer, more absorbent. Nap for three fibers must be properly defined as dry cleaning by a professional after the end of the process to ensure the new look to the fabric.
ALL ARE MICROSUEDES microfiber, however, all microfiber MICROSUEDES ARE !!!
One of the first microfiber fabrics to enter the market (1980) was "suede". Since then, many companies have developed microsuede fabrics. The wrong method can permanently ruin the fabric or foam.
In recent years, have developed other tissue types microfiber. It is the fabric content of upholstery fabric you buy.
Due to the extremely narrow band of such fibers, they are resistant to water.
The fibers have high strength (with the exception of the rayon)
These fibers to accept and hold dyes well, reduce discoloration. Irrespective of the fiber and fabric, you need to understand the limitations of fibers and fabrics have to determine the selection of fabric you will do in a certain area of your home. Informed choice of fiber and fabric of your choice will guarantee you years of fun and easy maintenance for your expensive furniture.
