Red Lobster Clam Chowder Ingredients:
2 c. butter
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 c. minced garlic
2 c. Flour
milk 1 liter
Clams 1 cup (in juice)
Cubes 1 cup potatoes
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. White pepper
1 c. dried thyme
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions Red Lobster Clam Chowder:
Melt the butter over medium heat in a large pot.
Add onion, celery, leek and garlic. Saute for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Mix well.
Return pot to heat (medium-high) and slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the clams and simmer for additional 6-9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add heavy cream. Serve in warm bowls of sourdough bread or your favorite cup or bowl.
