Verizon Heritage Hitting A Ball To Hilton Head Island

Verizon Heritage Golf Tournament was played at the famous Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina every year since 1969. The host course was designed by Pete Dye, with the entry of Jack Nicklaus. Verizon Heritage this year will be April 14 -20, 2008.
The Pro-Am tournament is a great way to entertain clients, as well as the time spent with a PGA professional. The Heritage Classic Foundation is the general sponsor of the tournament. Local support of generous sponsors, volunteers votes, and many spectators make an annual major event. Previous winners of the heritage include Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Payne Stewart, Greg Norman, Nick Price, Hale Irwin, Davis Love III, and Jack Nicklaus. After a sunny day in port, a fun night on the island is at each corner (wait, the islands have no corners, is not it?) Anyway, the choice for your evening activities is endless in Hilton Head. Shelter Cove has a number of places on the water, you can walk.

Tourist attractions

Well, let's see ... we have a great ocean, and many white sand beaches and dolphins and golf courses. You should really check out the unofficial symbol of Hilton Head Island, the Lighthouse of Porto while you're at Heritage. The Liberty Oak Tree is a fabulous place for a picture, and summer is the place to be with the children for fun concerts. The Coastal Discovery Museum is small but is a great place for all you out-of-towners to learn about the local flora and fauna and history of the island. There are Hilton Head involvement of signs in the civil war, and the Gullah influence in several areas on the island. Unless you play golf course. Walk Away Pines and Palmettos Spanish Moss covered oak trees and beautiful marshes and ponds. You never know what you can capture on film ...
