Oregon is blessed with rough coastal areas and beautiful scenes from inside to make it really special. The lifestyle in Oregon is laid back and relaxed. The people are friendly and tourists are welcome.
 
Salem is the capital of Oregon, and is located about an hour south of the border to Oregon and Washington. This city is home to the State Capitol Building and many other government offices. Willamette River runs through Salem and the scenery is beautiful. Named for the river, Willamette University is located in Salem and is one of the oldest universities and the best in this city.


Portland is blessed to be one of the most beautiful cities of the United States. Portland is built against the hills and the Willamette River flows from Salem city wind through downtown Portland. This park is located near the city center. There are miles of frontal areas of the river walk and roses are everywhere. Portland is known as the City of Roses and to celebrate this, a rose festival held each June

Columbia River starts in Canada meandering through Washington and Oregon before making its way to the sea. The area along the Columbia River is beautiful and it is a perfect place for salmon fishing.

Oregon has a diverse landscape, including the desert to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west, with rugged mountains in the middle. Oregon has some of the best scenery in the world. People from different countries come to see Multnomah Falls and Crater Lake. Temperatures in Oregon are mild, perfect for enjoying the outdoors, if you do not mind a little rain.

People living in Oregon enjoy the many outdoor activities in this beautiful state. Hiking, boating, fishing and camping are popular in summer. Many people also love riding the rapids on the many rivers that flow through this state. Skiing and other winter recreational sports are easily taken advantage of more than one location in Oregon.

Oregon offers one of the best known and highly rated golf courses. There are many nice hotels in this area and the golf course is ranked among the top ten world-class golf.

Each year thousands of people visit Oregon and find one of the nicest places I went. Oregon is a great place to vacation, with great shopping and many outdoor activities to keep you busy for months.
