YEAR 2010 Toyota
Corolla offers excellent handling characteristics, as well as one of the best
fuel consumption rate in the market. Unfortunately, in addition to the features
of the Corolla remains practically dull. long stretch of Toyota's market
dominance in the small sedan category may have left them more confident and
ready to give the vehicle an examination. It is hard to argue with the quality
and reliability they offer, and the incredible price tag buyers will see. Base models
come with 15-inch wheels, AC, tilt steering wheels, limited electrical
accessories. S models come with a little more like 16-inch wheels of steel, fog
lights, steering wheel leather, enhanced audio, and sports-style seats.
Other options
available for all models include a sunroof, cruise control, iPod connectivity
and Bluetooth, leather seating and better sound systems. In general, cars are
offered with only modest amounts of accessories, but enough to keep loyal
customers satisfied for the price you pay. Competitors like Hyundai and Mazda
took the lead in the global options available in the small sedan class.
Engines include a
1.8-liter four-cylinder that makes 132 horsepower. They are offered with a
manual transmission before food-wheel drive 5-speed with a four-speed automatic
offered as optional updates. These small engines are getting a 26 mpg city fuel
economy of 35 mpg highway. Again the five-speed manual transmission is
standard, while a five-speed automatic is available for an additional price.
2.4-liter engine models get 22 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, still impressive
compared to most competitors.
Standard safety
features make these large vehicles. Standard equipment includes ABS brakes,
front and side airbags, side curtain airbags and stability control. In the
crash tests the 2010 Toyota Corolla received a rating of 4 out of 5 stars for
frontal impacts, and a perfect score of five stars for side impact crashes
from. Space is relatively decent, but rear passengers can be a little tight
during long trips.
For a budget car that offers the reliability, the
Corolla is still a competitor. Unfortunately, Toyota has chosen not to redesign
many aspects of these sedans, allowing competition to take forward. Loyal
consumers undoubtedly still impress with its Corolla models coveted end either
basic or high. Consumers who buy in the small sedan class will find that
competing models are offering much more comfort and power, at similar prices.
