Is Gmail New Tab Doomsday System for Email Marketing?

Gmail is the choice of email client for many users, and the changes they make affect traders everywhere.

Gmail Tabs is a feature that Gmail is fit again, and the last change could offer you an advantage over other traders to prepare now.

Gmail
The Gmail application to fame is its simple user interface, impressive search feature, your aggressive filtering spam, and the ease with which users can create automatic email filters.

Gmail creator Paul Buchheit, however, said that they were somehow a way Gmail will never find popularity. Buchheit reported the dogged determination that was necessary to Gmail from a niche product used primarily by people in Silicon Valley for an email service for the masses. In fact, according Buchheit, the first time the product has received more positive than negative feedback was in a semi-private beta in 2004.

Today, however, Gmail swallowed market share at an alarming rate. Estimates of the exact market shares vary, but most have Outlook and Gmail neck and neck, with a slight edge for Outlook.
If the trend continues, however, Gmail exceed 2015 or Outlook 2016.

Tab system
At the end of 2013, Gmail has launched a new feature for all Gmail users, Tabs. This system is the first major revision of the Gmail interface and consists of four standard guides: elementary, promotional, and social updates.
By placing commercial guides in promotional guide, Gmail is to help its users to focus on the e-mail that matters most to them.

Since the launch of the feature, Gmail users have reported that they can simply guide on and delete these bulk messages without fear of deleting any personal correspondence.
There is little you can do to avoid landing in your Gmail filters promotions tab are not very sophisticated. What you can do, however, is to focus on delivering value in your emails and to build a relationship with your prospect.

So perhaps your subscribers move their emails from the Specials tab in the Updates tab, or perhaps even the main guide. Gmail will remember the movement and put your mail in these guides go ahead.

E-mails with image-based
Perhaps in a nod to merchants, or perhaps just to make more money for you, Google is testing a change to the Promotions tab for some users.

In the new system, the promotional emails are represented by a large square icon that displays the name of the sender, your subject line, and the first image that they used in the message body. The image is selected, occupying half of the icon of the space.

Marketers take note: If this system deployed to all users, image selection will become critical.
Avoid filling this space with your logo at all costs. If you sell a service, you can not go wrong with small animals and human faces images.

The bottom line is this: Gmail is not anti-trader, but they must keep your users in mind.
