A Brief History of Dell Incorporated


Dell Incorporated has a simple blue logo that we see on devices in our everyday world. Notebooks, desktop computers, data storage systems and more - to continuously use of Dell products to keep our lives on track and our businesses which operate daily. But it all started with Dell Incorporated? This American company (Dell Incorporated) based in Round Rock, Texas has a list of great achievements and awards. Founded by Michael Dell in the early eighties, Dell Incorporated now employees over eighty-six thousand employees directly, and even more for indirect retails sales and service. Fortune also listed Dell Incorporated as the number five most admired companies in their own industry.


In 1984, Michael Dell was a college student in Texas when it was first created PCs Limited. Headquartered in the bedroom of Michael Dell, it focuses on the sale of compatible computer systems with IBM PC, created from basic components in stock. After dropping out of school to pursue this activity, Dell created the first "Turbo PC", which sold just under eight hundred dollars. These custom-mounted units sold in the first year 73000000.

In the same 1992 Dell Corporation has been included in the Fortune five hundred largest companies, which in turn makes Dell the youngest CEO ever to make the Fortune list. A few years later (2002) Dell began selling his customized computers on their site online. Dell has also started producing televisions, printers and digital audio players. often the connection line of business from the personal computer to Oracle and Sun servers, Dell desktops have always been successful.

Including several acquisitions over the years, Dell has continued to grow, create microprocessors, and even cross marketing their products. Between 2004 and 2007, Michael Dell, even back as CEO, and left his long-time Dell trusted employee (Kevin Rollins) take. Dell continued to succeed because of their wide range of products and top service, even with Dell momentarily leaving office.

Today, Dell is still based in Round Rock, Texas, but also buildings and employees worldwide. Located in places like the United Kingdom, the Philippines, India and Oklahoma, Dell Incorporated seems to have places everywhere.
