Slot Car Racing is a fascinating pastime in which everybody can participate. Rules Most car racing clubs of the slot indicating that fun is their main goal. Slot Car Racing can be enjoyed by people of all ages, men and women.

Slot cars are small devices very simple. They are miniature models of real racing cars, usually in a 1:24. Power is supplied to the drive from the slot through metallic strips which are located near the slit on the track. This voltage is changed by a resistance found in the hand controller that the car "pilot" remains. This forms the base circuit. HO cars are working a little different, but the principle is the same. The car has electrical contacts which are called shoes "pick-up" which are mounted directly on the slot of the car chassis. A small round pin guide is generally used instead of a rotating banner.


In many racers of the scale slit, pulling magnets are often used to give the car a thing called support. This helps to keep the car in its relationship with the race track while traveling at higher speeds. It provides a great pleasure for the driver because the car will not slide or "drift" out when running. Slot cars are more than just mini versions of their full-size counterparts. Except for small rotary flag is nothing to keep the car flying off the track in curves. All cars slot are formed by a body which is solid plastic molded part which corresponds to the top of the chassis. Magnets are added to the front and rear of the car for support. Some race car enthusiasts choose to race cars without magnets because magnets add to the weight of the car.
